Siegelring (anulus) des merowingischen, fränkischen Königs Childerich (Hilderich) - Beschriftung: (Sigillum) CHILDERICI REGIS - Da die Buchstaben lesbar sind, handelt sich um eine spiegelverkehrte Abbildung des Ringes. Die Abbildung des Königs lässt zumindest erkennen, dass er sich den Bart schor und, wie bei fränkischen Königen üblich, langes Haar trug (rex crinitus). Kopie in der Französischen Nationalbibliothek in Paris, das Original wurde 1831 gestohlen.

Français : « Childerici Regis ». Copie, d'après l'anneau sigillaire trouvé dans la tombe du roi Childéric à Tournai en 1653. Buste du roi, vu de face, les cheveux longs jusqu'aux épaules, partagés par une raie médiane. Il est cuirassé, le paludamentum sur l'épaule gauche, et tient une lance de la main droite. Bibliothèque Nationale de France, Paris. L'original a été volé en 1831.
